Empathy building exercise. You must try this!

This week we talk about how to grow Empathy. Give me 10 minutes of your time and I'll show you an exercise to build your empathy muscles.

Practicing the skill of empathy is so powerful because it gives you the ability to be the antidote to someone else's shame. Empathy gives you the power to create experiences of worth for others, and with proper boundaries in place empathy can help you get the most out of relationships especially with those who are struggling. In this exercise, you'll learn to own your emotion both good and bad by putting on the shoes of someone else and writing what you know about them as if you were them. You'll practice using non-judgmental emotions based language to flex your empathy muscles. Finally, you'll turn inward and practice empathy with yourself. Don't miss this episode and be sure to share it with a friend.
