AEF-NEFL Samson Brings A Duck! NE22 Eats First NE23 Tries To Self Feed! Huge Crops On Babies 3.11.20

Samson flies in with a duck (looks like a Redhead Duck) and NE23 rushes over immediately to be first in line. But NE22 has other plans and bonks her sibling and then waits for Dad to de-feather it. Samson goes to town de-feathering the duck for about 10 minutes. Gabby comes to the nest & takes over the feeding. 23 remains submissive the whole time and gets the evil stink eye from big sis whenever he moved so he chose to be cautious. He is learning to wait patiently with his head down knowing that eventually he will get his turn at the feeding.

About an hour later, Samson flies in with a large fish and Gabby immediately claims it but leaves it on the side of the nest for later and takes off. Little Bit (NE23) heads to the duck and takes a few nibbles trying to self feed at 10:54. Gabby returns and 23 waddles over to her and gets a few bites of duck before big sis comes over and bonks him again. Eventually 22 moves over to the other side and 23 is in a position to eat!! Gabby stuffs 23 and now both eaglets are with full crops and they head over to the rails and take a nap. Well done Mom! Thank you for watching!
