🚨 Road Accident at Ayikuma – Dodowa Stretch 🚨

This evening, Saturday, 13th September 2025, at about 6:30 pm while it was drizzling, a passengers’ car with registration number GT-8248-Z, heading from Ayikuma to Dodowa, was reportedly swerving potholes just after Mercy Oil when it collided with another passengers’ car with registration number GN-6862-26, which was heading from Dodowa to Ayikuma.

According to eyewitnesses, no deaths have been recorded. However, several passengers in both vehicles, including the driver of the car with registration number GN-6862-26, sustained serious injuries. They have since been rushed to the Shai-Osudoku District Hospital for treatment.

This unfortunate incident once again highlights the poor state of roads within the Shai-Osudoku District, which continues to be a major setback to development and a threat to lives.
