Taiwan: An Underrated Travel Destination! | Taipei Vlog 🇹🇼

Taiwan: undoubtedly one of the great highlights of our trip so far.
For those who haven’t visited, its capital city Taipei is delightfully green, with no shortage of urban parks and verdant hills on its outskirts. Well-connected by an efficient MRT system, zipping around the sprawling metropolis is surprisingly stress-free. In our experience, we found the people to be warm, curious and helpful, and the quality of the food top notch.
Also, in a decision we did not regret, we booked a seventh-floor apartment in a quiet outer neighbourhood; the exceptional view, coupled with the slower pace of life in the area, really enabled us to soak in some Taiwanese serenity. We really cannot recommend a trip to this wonderful country enough! ❤️

(Psst… as an aside, Taiwan legalised same-sex marriage in 2019, solidifying it as a regional leader in this space. It was one of the reasons we felt strongly about spending our money here, and it‘s been a joy to discover the other attributes which make it such a special, well-rounded travel destination.)
