24 Hours in Lively Palermo! | Discovering the Charm of Sicily

We have a fond history with Italy. We’ve visited twice before, have an obsession with the cuisine, and our Spotify playlists are filled to the brim with Italian artists. In other words, it’s our happy place!

Naturally, we were very excited to broaden our Italian horizons by checking out the southern island of Sicily, and we were not disappointed! After travelling from Catania - where we saw the brilliant Mahmood in concert - we spent a day in the vibrant capital of Palermo. Magnifico! ❤️

In this vlog, you will find grand architecture, delicious food (like arancini), a beautiful golden beach, a fountain light show, and more!

By the way, when we filmed these activities, we were on a compressed timeframe and we were feeling like we’d short-changed ourselves. Well, the universe interceded... after arriving at the airport, we realised that we’d somehow booked our flight to Spain on the wrong date, and it was still FOUR DAYS in the future - lol! The stress of having to rejig accommodation aside (and a brief moment of panic when Tim misplaced his passport) it was actually happy news that we were able to soak up Palermo for a while longer!
