Avidyne For Jets: Atlas FMS

Avidyne has earned a loyal following for its IFD-series retrofit GPS navigator, and now it has earned FAA certification for the Atlas FMS for the legacy jet market. The Atlas uses the I/O and user feature set from the IFD panel-mounted navigator, but for an easier installation in Jurassic jets, it's packaged in a Dzus-mounted chassis to fit the avionics pedestal in planes equipped with ancient FMS systems. In this virtual interview, Avidyne's Dan Reida and Tom Harper discuss the product with Aviation Consumer Editor Larry Anglisano.
