Beech King Air AeroVue Avionics Flight Trial

BendixKing throws its hat into the competitive King Air retrofit market with a fresh STC for the AeroVue integrated flight deck. A derivative of the jet-world Honeywell Epic avionics, the AeroVue for Beech King Air B200 aircraft shaves nearly 150 pounds of weight from aging aircraft equipped with legacy analog avionics, while adding sizable capability thanks to an INS nav management system, synthetic vision, ADS-B Out and a CCD (cursor control device).

For this video, Aviation Consumer magazine Editor Larry Anglisano flew with BendixKing test pilot Dan Johnson in the company King Air to sample the AeroVue's capabilities. Filmed at AriVenture 2018 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
