Chalk Paint Kitchen Dining Table with me. I wanted to get a new kitchen table. I kept seeing people say how easy chalk painting was. I figured I was going to get rid of table anyway. So if for any reason I made a disaster of this I wouldn't feel bad. I impressed myself. I've never done this and loved how it turned out. I'm not a professional but chalk painting looked so easy to do. No prep work or sanding needed. It dries quickly and doesn't have the strong paint smell. I loved how this project turned out. It went from old style to chic. I love the brightness. This will be my motivation to do my kitchen cabinets. I bought paint and brushes at home depot. I didn't like how the Clear Semi Gloss looked so I used Polycrylic Satin finish. 3 Coats of chalk paint 2 coats of satin finish water based. The fabric on chairs is from JoAnn fabrics store.
