HOW TO GET THE BEST VIEWS ACROSS DARTMOOR! WILD CAMPING ON KESTOR ROCK!

Day 2 of our Dartmoor hiking trip (Here’s day 1 incase you missed it: https://youtu.be/mR-lZID9Pm4 and we woke up to the most stunning views across of the northern and eastern areas of Dartmoor National Park. Thankfully no cows, sheep or any other wild animals paid us a visit as we slept through the night.

We slept on top of Kestor Rock and from here hikers get the most beautiful panoramic views. This spectactular viewpoint is understandably popular for hikers but as we woke at sunrise we had this amazing spot to ourselves for hours before any hikers made their way over to this remote spot.

We then set off on another beautiful day of hiking and the day got even hotter than the previous day so water supply soon became an issue yet again for us on our hiking adventures until the kindness of locals saved us!
