THE BEST VIEW IN LONDON! STREET FOOD, CHRISTMAS LIGHTS PLUS AN ANTI VAX PROTEST!

In this video we explore our own capital city London during a Christmas weekend break to this iconic city. We start near Waterloo where we stayed in a hotel and head along Southbank making the scenic walk all the way to Fenchurch street to get ourselves up to the famous Sky garden. This is our new favorite view of London and it’s free making it the best view in London as you don’t get much for free in this city!

After enjoying a festive (but pricey) mulled wine with a view, we head back down to see some Christmas lights and grab a bit of Christmas market street food for a very late lunch in Leicester Square Christmas markets, after a super busy walk through the main famous streets of London to check out all the beautiful lights we gradually made our way over to Hyde Park with the intention of checking out Winter Wonderland but unfortunately due to covid the market has been turned into a ticketed event which we were going to buy but they had no tickets left so we decided to head back to Southbank Christmas markets for dinner and more festive drinks but as we’d planned our route carefully and walked all the way to Hyde Park we decided to make a quick stop at Buckingham Palace as it’s nearby.

It was a great plan to take this route through London which involved a lot of walking, a few trains to speed us up and then after all the exploring just 15 minutes in an Uber got us right back to the start!

We finished the day feeling Christmassy, tired and a little tipsy!
