STOP Hyping Up Your Music!

Mainstream artists are quick to constantly hype up their track and albums. But as a new artist, you do not have a big enough fan base to be constantly hyping up your songs. Artists will post trillers or snippets of their song and not drop it for weeks. The problem with that is the fan will not care about it anymore or forget about the original preview they saw. Peoples attention is so valuable, so if Instagram or Twitter algorithm blesses you and people are seeing the material, DO NOT waste that moment. Do not give people time to think if they want to like you as an artist or not. Make the song and drop it and give the people what they want. Hype is played out. Remember there are millions of artist around the world, if you aren't feeding the fans, they will forget about you and find someone else to listen to.
