How Often Should You Release Music?

Making and releasing music on a schedule is VERY IMPORTANT. Find a way to do a little something every single day. Even if it is only for 30 minutes to an hour. Whether you write a song, practice singing, play an instrument, or producing a beat, just use your creative brain and create something every day. Setting short term goals is the next step, but start them nice and easy. Maybe you want to make a whole song once every month, then every 3 weeks, every 10 days, every week. Once the releasing music part comes, make sure you pick a day and release ON that day. Whether you release a song every month, 2 months, or every week. Stick to your schedule and DO NOT push things back. Deadlines will help you get into a routine. As a plus to sticking to a schedule, you will begin to build a backlog of good releases and that will allow you more time to work on your craft. It becomes easier to connect with fans if they know exactly when to expect releases.
