Why use a router bit instead of a planer? Well, sometimes it just works. Patrick Holcombe shows us why - and how to set it all up.

Timber slab planing with a router is popular due to size limitations and/or cost of large-capacity thicknessers. This bit is specifically designed for timber removal of Australian hardwoods with six shallow cutters and maximum chip ejection.
