How to Install a Quick Disconnect Fire Extinguisher Mount

How to install a quick disconnect fire extinguisher bracket. This can be applied to any vehicle, for this I’m using my boat.

First is mounting the fire extinguisher to the bracket, use the supplied gear clamps to hold it into place. Position the screw portion of the clamp in a way it doesn’t interfere with anything.

Now installing it on my boat, I’m mounting it in the cuddy cabin to the carpeted wood panels. Two 1” countersunk screws are needed. This can also be mounted on a roll bar, they have a foam pad installed for this which I removed.

When done, simply pull the knob and the extinguisher falls out with ease.
