Ingredients:
5 lbs boneless beef chuck roast or brisket
1 tbsp Alaea sea salt (Hawaiian red salt)
1 tbsp liquid smoke
✅ Instructions:
🔹 1. Prep the Beef
Use a fork or knife to pierce the beef all over — this helps the flavor soak in better.
🔹 2. Season
Rub the salt all over the meat, coating every side.
🔹 3. Slow Cook
Place the beef into your slow cooker.
Drizzle with liquid smoke.
Cover and cook on LOW for 14–16 hours, until the beef is super tender and easily pulls apart.
🔹 4. Shred
Remove beef from the slow cooker.
Shred with two forks. Discard any fat, if you prefer leaner pieces.
🔹 5. Optional: Crisp It Up
Spread shredded beef on a baking sheet.
Broil for 3–5 minutes until the edges get crispy.
