18 years after appearing on 106 and Park’s freestyle Friday Jin’s career is in a steady yet precarious
position. Undeniably Mc Jin has proven his ability to craft off the top lethal freestyles without much
effort and there was a time the public thought Jin would rise to fame the same way Eminem did but to
this day Jin has struggled to create a lane for himself within American Hip Hop. Despite signing to the hip
hop label ruff ryders entertainment as the first mainstream Asian American rapper in 2001 the shift in
the masses from wondering what Jin would do next to not caring at all was quick and intense. In reality jin’s short
time with ruff ryders didn’t help him achieve the success he longingely searched for.Jin’s debut album
called The Rest is History was pushed back for two whole years and when the album finally came out it
peaked at number 54 on the Billboard 200 album chart. After he struggled to sell enough copies of his
debut slbum Jin was dropped from Ruff Ryders entertsinment and soon after that and he seemingly
disappeared off the face of planet leaving the public wondering, what happended to Mc Jin?
