Specialist surgery saves fractured fox

Here at Wildlife Aid, we are very lucky to have the help of some incredible vets who help us out on difficult cases.

This poor fox was brought into us with a nasty fracture to her leg. Luckily, star of TV's 'Vet on the Hill', Dr. Scott Miller, was visiting Wildlife Aid at the time and knew exactly who to call!

The very next day, the fox was rushed to see specialist surgeon Michael Hamilton for an emergency operation. Michael realigned the bones and attached a special plate to keep it all in place before closing the wound.

Amazingly, just a few weeks later, the leg was good as new and a delighted Lucy took the fox back to be free once again!
