One of these foxes is not like the other...
This little cutie was brought in to us after being found soaking wet in a stream. The cub was quickly dried and warmed up before being fed some puppy mousse mixed with milk. When possible, we always try to put back babies with their mother, as they are far better in the wild with their own kind. Sadly with this cub it was impossible to do so because the area around the stream was full of houses and gardens, and there were just too many possible locations for the earth (a fox's den).
A few hours later, a second cub was found in the exact same spot - wet and cold like the first one. Rescued by a different person, this one was brought into a pet vet first, to be dried and warmed up, before continuing onto us.
So we now have two fox cubs from the same family reunited here at the centre, potentially after a very unsuccessful first trip out of the earth! They will stay with us until they are big enough to be released back to the wild!
