11. Alma Israeli Woman's Voice: Concert Tour of Ancient Magdala

Directed by Ella Medina, the Alma Israeli Woman's Voice (an all-female vocal ensemble) performed a mix of Jewish and Christian liturgical pieces and love songs within the context of a tour through the archeology of ancient Magdala. The performance was a musical dialogue of voice and percussion that began in the 1st Century Synagogue at Magdala, continued on to the outdoor Magdala Mosaic Map, and into Duc In Altum, where music was performed in the striking "Encounter Chapel", the unique "Women's Atrium", and culminated in the distinctive "Boat Chapel" with a gorgeous view over the Sea of Galilee.
