Bar Soap to Liquid Soap Recipe:
- 500ml Water
- 1/2 tbsp Glycerine
- 1/2 cup Bar of Soap (Grated)
Preservative:
2 - 4% Leucidal Liquid SF (follow the usage guideline's of your preservative)

Bar soap is just as effective as liquid hand wash – however it’s a lot more inconvenient! And sometimes you just don’t like to idea of a communal soap bar floating around your sink!
But it’s extremely easy to turn your favourite bar of soap into an easy to apply hand wash by following the tutorial above.

In times of reported shortages on hand soaps, bar soap is still widely available! And with this simple trick you can go zero waste and reuse old liquid soap bottles, by refilling them with this DIY liquid soap recipe.
