Snagit 2021 - Simplify and Magnify - Two New Features

Snagit is my favorite screen capture program. I've used it for over 8 years. Snagit 2021 came out on October 20, 2020. Two news features are Simplify and Magnify. Simplify works by removing unnecessary details, simplified images focus your audience’s attention on the important parts, and help keep your content current. You can manually simplify or automatically simplify an image. There are multiple color palettes that work in simplify. The palettes pick up the colors from the screen capture.

Magnify allows you to zoom in on parts of an image to make it easier to see important details.
replace text and other visual elements in an image with simplified objects to focus viewers’ attention and keep images up-to-date.

Steps to Magnify:
1) Click and drag to select the area to magnify on the canvas.
2) Drag the white handles to adjust the size of the magnify selection.
3) Click and drag the icon to offset the magnified area to another location in the image.
4) In the properties, drag the Magnify and Line Width sliders to adjust the magnification
