Mad Marc Scott and The Bowerman Track Club called their shot at sub 13 and the On Athletics Club put up a fight lasting into the later laps of the Linden X Two Men's 5000m.
It ended with the fastest outdoor 5000m ever on US soil outside the the state of Oregon... but who won?
