Your phone can be a great productivity booster and also the biggest distraction. Trying to use my phone intentionally is something that I've been working on since last year when I read the work by Cal Newport about digital minimalism. I got better at not letting my phone distract me while studying, but still I often myself doom-scrolling or mindlessly browsing on the Internet during a break or when I'm in bed. Then, a friend of mine recommended I should try this app called Opal. So, this is my review of the app after using it for a week. I have to say, it does a pretty good job of reducing your screen time, stress while improving your focus and sleep quality.
