Welcome HOME to all the U.S. Troops leaving Afghanistan after a 20-year war. Thank You for your Service to OUR Country, now its time to turn our attention to Serving The LORD so that the time to “beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks,” comes closer for all GOD's Children, those who seek the face of The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY FATHER.}

Written by Frances Robert (Robin) Mark during a state of despair, and “prompted by the Holy Spirit” to say more than he personally intended, it was written as a song of hope, following the televised “1994 Review of the Year”, and one of its stories about the millions of lives lost in the Rwandan Civil War. Robin prayed to “GOD” and felt his prayer answered when he reflected on the Old Testament stories he remembered from his youth and realized that Elijah in the book of Kings had also “felt isolated and alone in the culture in which he lived.” Mr. Mark then reflected on the need to be “a holy and just people” and living a righteous life in our works and attitudes, in his reference to Moses.

He goes on to include Ezekiel’s Vision of the “dry bones becoming flesh and being knit together.”

And, then Mr. Mark goes on to mention David and in another reference to the “Restoration Theology” that calls for a “restoration” of the attributes of the church, to rather a return to an earlier, purer and more ancient form of worship. {And I would add a return and restoration of the original meaning of GOD’s WORD in the Tabernacle, in our lives and in our world. -R. k.
