EmpowerED S2W3 - Peer-led Formative Feedback

Students find it difficult to critically evaluate or understand what it means and what they need to do. As a
result, I developed essay plans for assignments on modules I teach. I then get students to complete the
plans and hold a workshop on small group peer-led feedback and discussion. The feedback from these
sessions has been very positive and this is an example of how empowering students to take control of
their own work leads to better understanding and learning.
