Notes on Singularity.net - This is another mind blowing idea of Goertzel. In Goertel's OpenCog system, AI's will be able to call for services from other AIs. There is already being developed a decentralized free market for AI services. AIs in OpenCog will have to pay for services in singularity tokens, thus the better services will be known by their higher price just as you have in a human free market place. If an American based AI would like services from a Russian AI, the American AI can get the services without either government knowing about the transaction. Because of decentralization, no government will be able to shutdown the services. Overtime, OpenCog or a similar system will be able to replace centralized services such as governments or private corporations when the service is superior in cost or functionality. This would revolutionize medical research where databases have been siloed inside of centralized organizations and inaccessible to general research efforts.
