The War Germany WON Against Russia – Victory at the Eastern Front of WW1

Did you know that Germany won the war against Russian during WW1 at the Eastern Front. The Eastern Front of WWI was a war of both movement and stalemate. During the First World War Germany achieved victory at Tannenberg and after the Masurian Lakes battle. The Austro-Hungarians were defeated during the Battle of Galicia (1914). Later the Germans pushed the Russians back who then started their Great Retreat (1916). The Brusilov Offensive (1916) and the Kerensky Offensive (or July Offensive) (1917) were both disastrous for Russia. The Tsardom had taken place for the Russian Provisional Government after the February Revolution. The Russian Revolution was concluded during the October Revolution after which the Germans launched Operation Faustschlag ("Operation Fist Punch") (1918). After this the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk (1918) was signed.
