Mr. Nixie "Nixielyzer" 6-Band Audio Spectrum Analyzer

In this video, I document the new "Nixielyzer", a 6-band audio spectrum analyzer using Russian IN-9 bar-graph Nixie tubes. The Nixielyzer is produced as a kit and also assembled by a German company called Mr. Nixie; it primarily makes vacuum tube based audio amplifiers and Nixie tube clocks, and other devices with unconventional display technology.

I contributed to the Kickstarter campaign for the Nixielyzer, and my 'reward' was one of the first kits to be produced.

I discuss the kit, show the assembly process, the testing, adjustments, Nixie burn-in, and case assembly. I then demonstrate the Nixielyzer in actual operation, and finally discuss the circuit theory of the product.
