Building ARM Servers with UEFI and ACPI
UEFI Mini-Summit session at LinuxCon North America - hosted by the UEFI Forum
Filmed: Aug. 22, 2014
Session Abstract: ARM server is an exciting platform driving new ideas about how to build servers. UEFI and ACPI are the core technologies that standardize the platform and enable many hardware, software and OS vendors to build products that work together.
In this presentation, we discuss the new ARM related content in the ACPI v5.1 specification published by the UEFI Forum, and how UEFI/ACPI advancements implement the ARM Server Baseline Boot Requirements. We also cover the ongoing work at Linaro to implement these changes.
