Pimentel: No implosion of PDP-Laban but only friction among members due to moves by Cusi | ANC

Dateline Philippines: Senator Koko Pimentel, who is executive vice-chairman of PDP-Laban, gives his two cents on the ongoing rift between party mates Senator Manny Pacquiao and Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi. He believes the internal friction stems from the possible presidential nominee for 2022. He says that Pacquiao has already hinted at running for president but Cusi and his faction are seemingly supporting an outsider. Pimentel now calls on Cusi to reveal their preferred party standard-bearer for the upcoming presidential elections.
