Commensalism is the relationship between the two species in which one is benefitted while other species is neither benefited nor harmed.
 The simplest example of commensalism is a bird making a nest in a tree.
 Burdock Seeds on Animals.
 Sharks and Remora / Echeneis a sucker fish. Barnacles growing on the back of whale.
 Epiphytes (Orchids, Hanging mosses) growing on branches.
 Vines and lianas (woody climbers).
 It is of three types
o Inquilinism: Provides shelter
o Phoresy: Use for transportation
o Metabiosis: Use something produced by the other after its death.
