Orphan gorillas at Senkwekwe Center in Virunga National Park, DRC.
This the only facility in the world that cares for mountain gorillas that were victims of snares and poachers. Some of them saw their entire family group being murdered by poachers.
A team of dedicated human caregivers provide them loving care daily. They are also monitored by the Gorilla Doctors, an experienced team of vets specialized in gorilla care.
