Aggressiveness
The gorilla generally has a peaceful and calm temperament, seldom showing aggressive behavior. Most gorilla violence is directed towards other gorillas.
I'm sure if the gorilla meets a lion, it won't be calm. Lions can be extremely aggressive and have been seen hunting hyenas, killing them and not eating their prey.

Bite Force
Gorilla jaw strength is extraordinary which makes their bite very powerful. Their bite force is almost double than that of a lion.
They have 32 teeth like humans. The bite strength of a gorilla is about 1300 PSI. The bite strength of a lion is 650 PSI. However, lions are very agile and have advanced bite reflexes.

Runnig
Lions can run 50 mph. Because of their lack of stamina, lions can only reach top speeds in short bursts. A gorilla can only run at speeds of 25 mph.
Of course it's hard to run with that much weight.

Intelligence
Gorillas are considered highly intelligent. Gorillas can laugh, grieve, have "rich emotional lives", develop strong family bonds, make and use tools, and think about the past and future.
Lions are quite intelligent...For example: lion recognize the gunpowder smell. If a lion smells gunpowder, it will shy away from a man, but if it doesn't it may attack a man, if it is hungry enough.

Energy Level
Lions spend much of their time resting, often up to 20 hours per day. They use the remaining time to hunt and fight.
Gorillas are generally calm and passive animals, however, the Silverback will defend his troop if he feels threatened.

Strength
gorillas are strong because when compared to humans a gorilla is about 9 times stronger than a average man.
Lion has a body that is built for them to be fast and agile. lion has 58.8% muscle mass.
a Silverback gorilla can lift up to 815 kilograms and human can lift a maximum of only 410 kilograms.
