Obama Family Arrives Home from Holidays

(3 Jan 2016) President Barack Obama returns to the rancor of the nation's capital after two weeks of fun and sun in his native Hawaii, saying he's "fired up" for the year ahead and ready to tackle unfinished business.
At the top of the list appears to be executive action that would expand when background checks are required for gun purchases. Obama is meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on Monday after about three months of review into what actions he could take to help reduce gun violence.
Also expect Obama to reassure the public of his national security stewardship as terrorism attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California, have raised concerns with the public.
Obama and his family left Hawaii and headed back to the White House Sunday morning.
The president and first lady, who donned a purple dress, boarded Air Force One together.
