Chinese Skewer (Sliding) Dovetail DEMO 24a 串带燕尾 A Traditional Chinese Joinery

The Chinese skewer or sliding dovetail is a traditional Chinese woodworking joinery found ubiquitously throughout China. 中国木工穿戴（串带）燕尾。. It is used primarily on the underside of a table top. The purpose is to keep the table top from warping. The Chinese sliding dovetail combined with a mortise/tenon/mitered frame creates a stable table top.
