Chest of Dovetailed Drawers Mushroom Ornament - 2015 Christmas Ornament Woodturning Challenge

Happy Thanks Giving Everyone!
A tiny chest of dovetailed drawers ornament for the 2015 X-mas Ornament Woodturning Challenge host by Allan Stratton and Carl Jacobson. (See links below)

This chest of drawers ornament is made from walnut, maple, sassafras, and brass. The drawers have half blind dovetail in the front, and through dovetails in the back. The bottom is made from ebony. Mortises were made in the walnut to house the drawers. The piece is these fixed with wax and turned into it's final mushroom shape.

The shape is of mushroom is derived from my recent foray into traditional Korean furniture. The mushroom motif is used as a symbol of longevity.

I perform several classic Christmas songs on my guitar with a little improvisation to seal the song or for whimsical effect for your enjoyment: Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Silent Night, and Deck the Hall.
