It Is What It Is. Our Equipment Breaks Too! Lifting a Lift

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching. OK, so this is a little different. Our Peterbilt 579 road tractor, unit #17, that pulls our Trail-Eze TE801 trailer, had loaded a piece of equipment and was delivering it for a customer when the hydraulic pump on the truck sprung a leak. Meaning that the driver, Kenny, couldn't unload the equipment at the delivery location. I sent Mike to contain the small spill. Kenny had shut off the valve from the hydraulic oil tank as soon as he noticed the leak. Mike and Kenny believed that the pump's shaft seal had gone bad and was not repairable on-site, so, I take our Peterbilt 389X with a Miller Industries Century 1150R rotator to unload the SkyJack SJ66 boom lift for our customer. Before anyone asks, NO, we did not charge our customer for using the Rotator to unload the equipment. This was our equipment failure and was on use. It is what it is. Mechanical equipment fails, breaks, malfunctions...even ours. It happens. The main things are that nobody was injured, our customer was taken care of, and the small hydraulic oil spill was cleaned up. We later discovered that Kenny and Mike were correct and it was a pump seal failure. So, now our trailer is inoperable waiting on a $2.00 shaft seal that has to be ordered!!! Oh well, again, it is what it is.
