My worst idea yet!

A customer of mine bought a cement mixer sight unseen in an auction near Las Vegas, and hired me to get it back to Central Oregon for them. As far as we knew if the history on this concrete truck, it was used by a Vegas concrete company for a short time before being parked out in the desert at the back of their yard and abandoned there for many years, until it was brought over to this auction to be sold. We don't know why they quit using it, why it sat so long, or why it was sold. So I flew down there with nothing but a change of clothes, got the truck started, and drove it straight to the nearest @harborfreight to buy some tools and do a few repairs in their parking lot. From there it was a very @ViceGripGarage type of road trip where I fixed what broke as I went down the road and just hoped I would make it home. Now it's going to get some welding repairs done, and then will be taken to the shop to get a full mechanical checking over before going back to work
