Leaky Tankless Post Mortem Workbench

When I went to replace a tankless water heater that died, these two leaked, so I was forced to buy a more costly EcoSmart 8 to replace the old EcoSmart 8 and that worked out just fine.
I suspected that these inexpensive tankless water heaters were either defective or that I had broken the fragile internals, but I wanted to make sure before I tossed them into the trash. The first minute of the video is me building the test rig out of some scrap board.
The first device is a DSK-65 that I've had laying around for years as a spare. The second device is a Kenuos 7500w tankless water heater which cost me a few cents less than $100.
I had really high hopes for the Kenuos as it claims to be as powerful as the Ecosmart 8 (which is really around 7200 watts and not 8000) and cost just $100. If it was successful then I would stop paying ~$250 for the more expensive EcoSmart devices.
