In the conclusion of Tulsa King Season 3, episode 9, Russell and Dwight visit the hotel where the New York hitman is staying. In the parking lot, they plan their approach to dealing with the man. They realize they are dealing with two hitmen rather than just one when they witness two men dressed alike emerge from nearby rooms while they are conversing. For the sake of convenience, the authors spare Sylvester Stallone and Samuel L. Jackson the agony of killing two men who, in all likelihood, would have defeated these elderly mob bosses.
Russell enters one room while Dwight enters another; they execute the hitmen with indifference and return home. Vince shows up shortly after they have left the area, and he is surprised to discover that both of his boys are dead. Wow, Ray certainly tried to not leave anything up to chance. After that, Mitch and Cleo appear in a brief scene. Their relationship had deteriorated since Mitch had nowhere to go or just didn't want to leave Dwight's side, while Cleo wanted to put this life of crime behind.
After the bombing, Mitch was certain that Cleo would want to avoid him since she wouldn't feel secure enough to join Dwight's empire after such a huge explosion if she was still scared by her meeting with the police. However, it turns out that Cleo would rather be by Mitch through good times and bad than be by herself and "safe." And when things appear to be improving, Jeremiah's goon kidnaps Joanne. Jeremiah's action indicates that he is in pain, which has made him desperate. It is said that an injured lion is more dangerous than a hungry one.
He ought to have "taken the L" and used whatever money he had left over to live out the rest of his days. Alternatively, he ought to have partnered with Dwight to continue in the liquor industry. But Jeremiah is too conceited to select one of those choices. He will undoubtedly attempt to get Dwight to cede Montague Distilleries in return for his sister's life. He will bend the knee since he is aware that Dwight loves her too much. So what? Does Jeremiah truly believe that Dwight will allow him to flourish if the swap is successful? No, when he least expects it, he will murder him.
