NORTHERN PAKISTAN FIRST IMPRESSIONS IN SKARDU! Lake Kachura | Pakistan Vlog 2

Our flight from Islamabad to Gilgit got cancelled on the day we were meant to fly and there was not another flight to Gilgit for 4 days, so we rebooked another flight but to Skardu for the next day.

The views from the Pakistan Airlines flight from Islamabad to Skardu were incredible! Especially flying so close to Nagar Prabhat!

On arrival at Skardu Airport, we got a taxi to Upper Kachura lake where we found a small hotel via boat along the lake! Later in the day we went for a walk around Upper Kachura lake and we were instantly pleased that our flight was rerouted to Skardu because we loved our Skardu travels!

On day 2 in Skardu we walked from Upper Kachure Lake to Lower Kachura Lake. We knew the Shangrila Resort was on Lower Kachura Lake but we thought there would be other accommodation too. It turns out hotels on Lower Kachura Lake are limited so we stayed at the Shangrila Resort Skardu during the day, had lunch there and walked to the viewpoint but because we were looking for budget accommodation in North Pakistan we stayed one night at Motel Tibet across the road while we planned our North Pakistan Adventure for the following day!
