This is my Cape Wrath backpacking kit with a few modifications needed to tackle what is generally regarded as Britain's most arduous unofficial long-distance route from Fort William to Cape Wrath.

The trail uses ancient drover paths, follows forested glens, and crosses bogs, bridgeless rivers, high moorland and mountain passes with not a waymarker in sight.

It passes through the remotest areas of Britain all the way to the northernmost point of mainland Scotland, Cape Wrath.

A 230 mile backpacking thru-hiking adventure like no other in Britain!
