台灣教授買下10000㎡山谷，為人類留下寶貴的種子

30年前，台灣清華大學生物教授李家維，為了保護山上的動植物，買下了苗栗縣12000㎡山頭。2000年，他在山谷中蓋了玻璃屋，把收集的化石、文物搬進來，山谷的花房養著各種奇花異卉……整個山林經過幾十年保育，逐漸恢復成一片低海拔森林。

30 years ago, Li Chia-Wei, a professor of biology at National Tsing Hua University, bought a mountain of 12,000 m2 in Miaoli County to preserve the animals and plants there. He built a glass house in the valley in 2000, moving in all his collections of fossils and antiques and growing a variety of exotic plants in the greenhouse. After dozens of years’ preservation, the mountain gradually restores to a low-altitude forest.
