Roasted garlic sandwich

Roasted garlic, or, garlic confit, anyone? I hear you, you think that garlic is too strong, however, when slow roast them at low temp they get extremely mild and sweet, and for this reason, these herbed garlic are a perfect addition to many savory recipes; from a mayonnaise to a salad dressing to your favorite stews and sauces or simply for rubbing on your toast for making a delish sandwich! Enjoy!!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of raw garlic,
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
thyme to taste
Rosemary to taste
oregano to taste
1 bay leaf
1 chili pepper,
olive oil enough to cover the garlic by half
METHOD:
Add all the ingredients to a small oven-safe frying pan, or baking dish.
Put it in the preheated oven at 212F for 40 minutes.
Add the roasted garlic to a container along with the olive oil and the bay leaf.
Cover it and keep it in the fridge.

CUPS CONVERSION:

1 cup = 250 ml / 8.45 oz
1/2 cup = 125 ml / 4.22 oz
1/3 cup = 85 ml / 2.87 oz
1/4 cup = 60 ml / 2.02 oz
