Camp Life at Angama Mara (+ Walking Safari)

A walking safari is definitely one of the must do highlights when staying at Angama Mara!

From the camp we walked with a Masai warrior guide who explained us plants and trees and their medical herbal healing abilities and about the Masai culture. The best thing about a walking safari you feel much more connected to nature and appreciate the little creatures that are not less important so much more! And we could get really close to some buck, zebras and giraffes, too.

Another highlight at Angama Mara is the bush barbecue which is such a beautiful setting among the trees and lanterns and fires where you enjoy delicious grilled meat and seafood. the unbeatable is definitely the bread on the stick ;-)
