This is a gorgeous beauty in good original condition. The original white dial is in excellent condition, with light patina and marks. It still pops gorgeously, as do the blued hands. The gold plated case is in poor condition, the plating is mostly worn. I’d recommend to get this one replaced to be good as new.
The watch is a ref 1193, powered by a manual wind Venus can 188 from 1951. Service history unknown, but it works well and keeps good time. The chronograph functions well too, although the movement seems a bit dry; sometimes the chrono is slow to start, but once started/stopped once, it starts like normal again. It measures 34mm diameter without crown, and 43,6mm from lug to lug. It comes on a new leather strap.
