TAWNY OWLS 👀 Calling & Mating

These wonderful *vibrating calls* are from a male Tawny Owl, courting his mate, before copulating. I had never heard or even read about these calls before, so it was great to capture this, and also the reaction of the female, who started calling back.
Then they copulated twice, which was a nice bonus.

0:00 The male Tawny Owl uses *vibrating calls* to woo his female who calls back to him from her perch.
0:35 The female Tawny Owl reacts to a flock of Barnacle Geese and then a helicopter flying over, although she never stops calling out to the male.
1:04 A female Tawny Owl perched high up over open farmland.
1:20 A female Tawny Owl roosting in the sunshine.
1:46 SThe Owls are sleeping but always vigilant, as walkers occasionally stroll directly below their daytime roost, unaware they are being watched.
2:13 Both adult Owls roosting together (late February).
2:22 Roosting together again (mid April).
2:48 Alarm calls from smaller birds are heard all around.
3:13 The male Tawny Owl walks along the branch to the female, using his vibrating calls to impress her once again, before they copulate for a second time.
3:55 More affectionate nibbling and mutual preening.
4:15 Unusual bird screams interrupt their intimacy.
4:26 They separate to hunt for rodents or small birds.
4:31 The male Tawny Owl silently swoops from his perch on unsuspecting prey.
