TRAFFIC LIGHT FAILURE! But does traffic flow better?

Whilst waiting at a red light, the lights just went off! I had a look at how the traffic flowed on this usually congested junction. Although it was dangerous for pedestrians, the traffic seemed to flow a lot better. I even got a look at the controller when an engineer arrived! The lights failed from a power outage.
