If you’ve seen our previous videos, you probably know that, back in 2020, before the pandemic shut down the world, we visited Thailand!

We were so mesmerized by the culture, people, cuisine, and way of life that we felt like moving here wouldn’t be such a bad idea!

Staying at the Conrad hotel meant enjoying all its perks and amenities. In the previous video, you saw us taking a Thai food cooking class. And in this one, we are taking you to see the gorgeous Wat Arun Temple and one of the biggest shopping malls in Thailand.

Our day started with some light Tennis to get our bodies moving, but it was way too hot and humid, so we decided to jump in the pool!

Later, thanks to a very affordable taxi ride, we arrived at the stunning Wat Arun Temple. After paying the admission fee (50 baht (1.5 USD) per person), we headed toward the main temple.

Due to a minor “wardrobe malfunction,” we were stopped at the entrance, and Chantal had to put some pants on (for modesty purposes). But then we were free to explore and enjoy the temple.

At the end of our visit, we jumped on a water taxi that took us to IconSiam - the ultimate shopping destination on the Bangkok River.

Only a year old, the IconSiam shopping center offered countless shops, a multitude of restaurants, smiling faces, and an upbeat atmosphere.

We tried delicious dumplings that cost us only 1.5 USD for eight pieces and then enjoyed the flavors of a finger-licking Thai dinner.
