Adam Damian Grant - swim across the Georgia Straight
On Sunday August 11 2013 Adam Damian Grant swam non stop with no wet suit or flippers from Point Cowan on Bowan Island across The Georgia Straight to Acadia Park (UBC)
He started at 6:30am and finished at 1:15pm
Total time: 6hours and 45mins
He swam through 5ft swells, a thunder and lightning storm and his left shoulder ceased on him for 30 minutes forcing him to swim with one arm for that 30 mins.
He never gave up!!!
